Even though we took down the crib to much fanfare, gave her a "big-girl" bed, and then hung butterflies from the ceiling over the bed (since she recognized the inequity of Olivia having hanging butterflies), she is now insisting that she wants to sleep only on the floor.
So today, while she napped on the floor, this one decided that he might as well nap in a perfectly comfortable but unused bed.

My kids think it is a huge treat to sleep on the floor. Our carpets must be toooo soft.
Strong willed little stinkers!!!!
My brother used to tell me that I should just buy something fun for the floor since that was where they would sleep anyway. We tried a bed with Loren, but we gave up on Adelle. Her crib mattress is on the floor. I keep thinking that one of these days I'll get her a bed, but since she's so happy I haven't gotten around to it!
Maybe she just needs the cat to break in the bed a little bit before it's ready to sleep in.
Hey, at least you don't have to worry about her rolling out of the bed yet.
Lewis's "bed" is an IKEA mattress on the floor. It's good to know that he might have chosen that, given an option.
