Another good idea....of someone else's

This is a big thanks to good friends whose ideas come through when you need something in a pinch. So thanks, Emily S. for another good idea about making pinecone birdfeeders with kids. I did this with Olivia's little preschool group this morning, except with minibagels instead of pinecones .....again, planning in a pinch. And in addition to making the birdfeeders we had a little lesson on birds and learned some they can identify locally. The kids had a really fun time, and I am sure that I looked very cool to the other kids' moms. And, of course, that was my point. They just need never know that the ideas were not my own. Shhhhhh.
