I Mop

Remember when I had my old kitchen floor and it was so ugly and I told myself that it didn't make any difference if I mopped it or not because it always looked disgusting no matter what. And then remember how I promised myself that when I got the new and beautiful wood floor that mopping would surely be a priority. Well, not so much. I could use the excuse that since I was taught in the mopping school of on-hands-and-knees-with-razor blade-and-toothbrush, and that using a quick and easy stick mop is worthless, that naturally it would take anyone a long time to get around to it. But, who am I fooling.
Nonetheless, I'm patting myself on the back today because it's clean !
Maybe it's not a red-letter day at your house, but it is at ours. Check back with me in 4 months and I'll let you know if it happened again.

p.s. Also, I mowed the lawn today too. How's that for more back-patting!

Oh wow, Jennette you are wonder woman! I hate moping, not to mention lawn cutting! Good for you! You are my hero! :)

Congratulations! I am waiting for some of that positive housekeeping energy to transmit through the computer screen.

Mopping shmopping. Good for you though. Your kitchen looks great! It makes me want to come over and cook (not clean, sorry). I have been waiting to see some final kitchen pics.

Looks great!! The ONLY reason my kitchen floor gets done is because I pay someone to come do it for me. How's that for laziness??

Its about time.

I mean when I stop by, uninvited for dinner I am embarrassed at what comes up on my feet. ;-)

High five. It is an annual event at our house, sometimes.

I am so jealous of your hardwood floors! We had to go cheap when we moved in and put in the Costco laminate. Three years later (one major flood and several minor accidents) ... and still dreaming of hardwood floors. One day ...
