Because I stated right up front that I understand that blogging is inherently about making public, and therefore important, even the most trivial aspects of my life, I feel not-very-guilty (ok, I mean entitled) about sharing my two most recent and fabulous Doris Day Parking spots: one at the Trader Joes in Silver Spring on our way to the National Zoo (and you know that SS is not exactly a rural area), and second at Costco on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend where I got the second space in the row closest to the door and didn't even have to wait for it (and even though this is DE, trust me that the Costco can still get Bay Area-like-crazy with all those people who need their watermelons and frozen burger patties for a long holiday weekend).
Anyone else with some great parking story to share?

I've parked in the spot just outside the parking lot at the Berkeley Ward chapel several times. I always feel lucky when that happens!
When I read this I thought, I never have good parking experiences. And then just yesterday it was POURING buckets and I had to go to a store with a small, crowded parking lot and lo and behold, curbside parking was available so it was just a hop and a skip from the car, enabling us to avoid becoming drenched in the downpour. So there you go, my own Doris Day Parking!
Hey Jennette. It's so funny how you can be friends with someone, and not even know they have a blog too! :) Great blog, by the way! I love it! I don't have any fabulous parking spot stories. I always seem to end up at the farthest spot, and then as I'm walking into the store, I see a few spots open up that are closer! :)
Good to see you here Kristin...so this means I better not share any nasty Primary stories, eh? Now, do you have a blog that you have been hiding from me?
