Seriously hydrated

I thought it would be a good idea to clean up the house this morning so Jennette wouldn't come home to (too messy) of a house (she's down in D.C. for a girls weekend out) and this is how many kids water bottles/sippies I found lying around the house.

This is not including the three water bottles I found in Max's room:

or the one I later found in the car. This is not even all the kids water bottles we own, just the ones that were not put away in the water bottle bin or the sippy shelf. I have no idea how growing up I survived in a family of five with two leaky green army surplus canteens.

Yay for girls weekend and DOUBLE yay for a husband who cleans up the house so the momma can remain on that high when she gets home. You're a keeper, Adam!

I sure hope none of those had rotten milk in them. That's the worst discovery.

I keep thinking I need to weed our overfull drawer of bottles and sippy cups, but the thing that holds me back is that I know some of them leak but I don't know which ones. So I'll probably throw away the wrong ones, and then what?

Oh the plastic that clutters our home! Why do children require so many plastic gadgets and gizmos? I think I may be in favor of the 3 leaky green canteens. I am sick of finding sippies EVERYWHERE.
