When I was One,
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three,
I was hardly Me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive
But now I am Six, I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three,
I was hardly Me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive
But now I am Six, I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.

She is so darn cute, and Parker talks about her every day. It makes me happy that they are in the same class. =)
Happy Birthday to her. Love the poem.
You take such great pics. (I think you should start taking professional pictures of parents lower halfs as they hold their kids hands....you know those precious pics I am speaking of.)
I love that poem - and it is perfect! I now have a six year old too. Would you mind so much if I stole your idea and used it for a birthday post for Cate? It is so sweet and I had forgotten all about it.
Emily--definitely use it for Cate! It's one of the favorite poems around our house. Happy birthday to our little six year olds!
Cute poem, cute girl!
